My work is a mixture of photo-illustrations, photography, and fibre art. Through my exploration of these mediums I recognized recurring themes that define my current body of work: patterns and textures of the urban landscape, pop culture and its underlying humor, and the challenge of communication. The interplay of these different mediums enhances my aim as an artist - to reconstruct reality, as I know it, to better communicate my point of view to the audience. It is my goal as an artist to continue to explore the potential of these mediums, and to continue to challenge the viewer and myself.
